Planet Pledge

We aren't tree hugging hippies, but looking after the environment, caring for children and animal welfare are all things very close to our hearts at BMX Academy... so I guess maybe we are hippies after all :)
We feel it's important to take action now to reduce global warming to protect our planet for the future generations of young people we are all helping to raise. 

Ghandi famously said, "Be the change you want to see in the World."

Our Planet Pledge is to plant one tree for every class we work with in schools

Since September 2023, via our partnership with One Tree Planted, we have planted 1253 trees as part of our sustainability plan.

From the air we breathe to the water we drink, trees work nonstop for the planet.

They pull carbon from the atmosphere, protect biodiversity, and regulate our climate.

Without them, the planet doesn't work.

 
Our sustainability plan includes our main vehicle being an EV with zero emissions, recycling as much as possible, avoid printing unnecessarily, solar charging our phones, laptops etc and aiming to reuse and repair equipment to reduce waste.
We also donate monthly to UNICEF and The RSPCA to help protect children and animals in danger or in need of help.

 UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.

The RSPCA is the world's oldest and largest animal welfare charity. They've been rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming and releasing animals since 1824. Changing lives, laws, industries and minds so all animals can live a better life.
